Aaron is a happy boy with an adorable smile, but it's a wonder he
can smile after all he's been through, from being born early with
major spine problems to developing breathing problems as a result.
At three years old, he had surgery in the Spring of 2003. Aaron
suffered some major complications which left him with partial paralysis
in his legs.
Aaron has had to relearn many things such as how to sit up, crawl
and pull himself up to stand all on his own. Aaron has delays in
his speech; however, just recently he has been picking up words
since he has begun to attend Kindergarten part time.
Unfortunately, Aaron will need more surgery within the next six
months for his spine problems.
There are two hospitals where Aaron goes when necessary, Shriners'
in Montreal and Montreal Children's Hospital.
Despite all he has been through, Aaron remains a wonderful, sweet,
energetic little boy with a sparkle in his eye and a curiosity for
learning.
His mom, Laura, is separated from Aaron's dad, and she has no other
children.
