CAMERON S  -  GRADUATED to good health!

Date of Birth: 09/06/97

Main Diagnosis:
Brain Tumor

Featured on: March 03

Graduated: September 2011

For several weeks after his fourth birthday, Cameron had complained of headaches. He also tilted his head to the right. His doctor said the headaches were caused by allergies. Finally, Cameron's mom tried a new doctor who immediately ordered a CT scan. That showed the tumor at the base of Cameron's brain.

Doctors surgically placed a shunt in the back of Cameron's head to relieve pressure. Tubing from this shunt runs (under his skin) into his abdomen.

Cameron had another surgery to remove the tumor, but doctors could only get part of it. He started chemo in February of 2002 and finished in March 2003.

Cameron has a brother named Austin Below is a photo of them dressed as pirates (taken Sept. 05)
