Cole's younger brother, Austin, developed
a rare blood disorder in 1999 and had a cord blood transplant in
2000. He and his mom were at the hospital for ten grueling months;
but they were blessed with the life of their son! Out of the 16
children in the transplant unit, Austin is one of four who survived.
In February, Cole was diagnosed with Leukemia.
He was fortunate that his spinal tap revealed no cancer cells in
the spinal fluid, but his final diagnosis from his bone marrow revealed
that he has t-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This type requires
a harsher treatment regimen. He began his 30 month treatment regimen
on April 3. Cole has a 75-80% chance of cure. His family is relying
heavily on the prayers of others.
Thank you for any prayers and encouragement you can send.
