Emalee was a typical two and a half year old until, out of
nowhere, she devloped two golf-ball size bumps above her eyes.
After several medical tests, her parents learned that Emalee has
Neuroblastoma, which started in her abdomen. It has moved to
her legs, neck, bone marrow, and head; and it has progressed to
Stage Four. Click the thumb nails below to enlarge them.
She's undergone many rounds of chemotherapy, surgery, and a stem
cell transplant. Next, she'll begin radiation therapy and then
many months of antibody treatment as well as acutance therapy.
When Emalee's not in the hospital, she wants to be like any other
little girl -- having fun! She loves to play with her
pretend kitchen and cook food for mommy or play outside on the swing
with her daddy. She also loved books, playing dress up, and
watching DVD's.
Emalee has a big sister whom she adores. They love to sing
and dance together to the Jonas Brothers.
Emalee has a long road ahead of her. Her parents believe
that with determination -- and all of your prayers -- she will make
it through this.
