Emily turned six years old September 10, 2007!  She was just recently diagnosed with Leukemia (in June, 2007).  She's been receiving chemotherapy since two days after her diagnosis; and she's suffered many side effects.  She has leg pain and weakness, so she cannot walk.  She's hoping to learn to use a walker for support and confidence.  Emily is facing enormous challenges as she battles this sickness.

Emily likes to play with her dog Miley.  She started kindergarten this Fall.   Before she got sick, Emily enjoyed ice skating and riding her bike.  She also likes coloring, painting, crafts, and watching SpongeBob, Hannah Montana, and movies. She collects Petshops.
