Evan is an energetic guy who loves to go to school, but he's not a typical little boy.  Evan has an inoperable brain tumor (ganglioma). 

He has a shunt to aid with the hydrocephalus (water on the brain) caused by the tumor.  He's undergone two surgeries in six months to revise the shunt and to create communication between his right and left ventricles in the brain.  Evan takes medication daily to control seizures.

According to his mom, Darci, Evan is quite a little thrill seeker.  He loves roller coasters, swimming, running, soccer, and playing in the park. His favorite thing in the world is watching movies, and he collects all the cars from the Disney movies.

Evan likes Disney movies, stickers, Thomas the Tank Engine, and cars.
