Marsha Jordan
author, humorist, and all around fun lady

I admit it! I'm a little zany.
I'm a ten-year-old kid
trapped in a grandma's body.
I believe in the healing power of laughter,
and I like to share it with those around me.
Laughter makes the good times better
and the hard times bearable.

I began my writing career on the bathroom walls of St. Joseph's Catholic Elementary School,
and I'm proud to say that now my writing appears in some of the finest restrooms
throughout the country.

I've been held captive for a quarter of a century in the north woods of Wisconsin
where "nature lingers longer," and so does winter.
I have two boys, ages 32 and 58. I've been married to the 58 year old for 33 years.

My rocket scientist husband and I share an empty nest with our badly behaved,
brain damaged toy poodle, King Louie, who rules the household with an iron paw. I spend my
days ignoring my dirty oven and dreaming of the things I'd like to do but probably never
will -- including overcoming the trauma of class picture day in second grade.
My life is filled with all the glamour of an overflowing dumpster.

I've consumed enough chocolate to make the Guinness Book of  World Records, I can cook
a three minute egg in two and half minutes, and I've seen Elvis. Besides napping
and nagging the husband, my hobbies include breathing in place, riding my pet pig Shirley,
and studying do-it-yourself dentistry.
