Jonathan is 15 years old and  was diagnosed with Epilepsy at 2 years of age.  Because he  is allergic to most anti-seizure medications, he has gone through three brain surgeries.  However, he still suffers from seizures,  every night while he sleeps.

A Vegas Nerve Stimulator was implanted in Jonathan’s chest in hopes of aborting some of the seizures.  This appears to help infrequently. 

 Unfortunately, Jonathan’s cognitive ability has suffered, due to the constant seizing.  His development is at a 4 to 6 year old level.  He will always need support and encouragement from his family and others in the community.

 Jonathan loves to be with his bother and two sisters, as well as his Grandmothers, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

 He  LOVES to receive mail.  The most exciting part of his day is waiting for the mailman to come or going to his PO Box to pick up his mail.  He also loves to do graphics on the computer.  He enjoys creating  pictures and greeting cards on the computer as well.  Jon likes fishing and treasure hunting with his dad.  He loves to collect pirate material and ships.
