Michael was born three months prematurely and went through a lot during his first year of life.  His lungs collapsed and he was placed on a ventilator. But after two months in the hospital, Michael went home and everything was normal for him till he was three years old.  He sustained a concussion after falling about ten feet from a tree.  He was never the same after that injury; he suffered from dizzy spells, nausea, and seizures.

Michael and his brother and sister are all on seizure medication; but Michael hasn't been doing well on it.  He must take precautions to stay away from anything that could hurt him if he has a seizure.

Michael enjoys being outside and playing on the trampoline.  He loves to draw and is very creative, spending hours making board games, puzzles, and comic books.
