Book Promoting Tips from author Marsha Jordan

So,
you've written
a great book

Now, how do you
get the masses
to buy it?

Even if you don’t care about having a million seller, you need to promote yourself and your book. It’s not enough to be mildly interested in selling enough books to earn a little money. You should be very concerned about publicizing.

                You must be dedicated.

                            You must be devoted.
                               You must be determined

                                              and stubbornly obsessive.

You must also get a head start. I began reading books and subscribing to newsletters on promotion before I sent my manuscript to the publisher -- in fact before it was completed. To help you get started, I’ve listed some suggestions gleaned from my own experience. This is a list of some fun and easy ways to promote your book, divided into the three categories listed below.

Tools You Can Use

These ideas are just the tip of the ice berg, but they will at least help you to begin thinking like a promoter and not just an author. This list is always growing, so return to my site often to read my latest ideas!
