Tiara was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus Type 1, on January 21, 2003. She was diagnosed with Todd's Paralysis (temp. paralyzing on the left side of her body due to seizures) on September 24, 2003. She is insulin dependent. She must be closely monitored by her mother and have her blood sugar levels tested 6-8 times per day. Tiara receives 4-6 insulin injections daily.

Raylee has been pre-diagnosed with Diabetes Type 1 and is on watch.

Tammi has just recently become a single parent and lost her job due to time off work caring for Tiara.
